Molly’s work includes hundreds of articles, photos, radio pieces, workshops, and presentations published in local to international outlets. Along with Andy Tyson, she co-authored the popular book Climbing Self Rescue, which sold over 25,000 copies before it went out of print in 2023. To Molly and Andy’s delight, Climbing Self Rescue was also translated into Spanish and Farsi.

A former Contributing Editor for Climbing and She Sends magazines and Regional Editor for the American Alpine Club's Accidents in North American Climbing, Molly also takes on editing projects. Recent clients include educational organizations like Harvard, Yale, and affiliated professors.

Molly is immensely grateful to have received awards, fellowships, and residencies such as: Middlebury College's Environmental Journalism Fellowship, the Journalism and Women Symposium Fellowship, Writer-In-Residence at Grand Teton National Park's Murie Center, Banff Centre's Mountain and Wilderness Writing Workshop, and the McCluskey Scholarship.

Her first job, and job in the world of words, was reshelving children book's with Star, a librarian that always wore purple Converse.
