An engaging storyteller with a long background in education, Molly has spoken about her endeavors for groups like TEDx, The Explorers Club and The Wilderness Society and libraries, gear stores, alumni and student groups around the country. These multi-media shows combine beautiful images with adventure and the historical, political, cultural and environmental issues that make that locale unique.
Molly is able to speak on a wide variety of topics including leadership, risk management and assessment, wilderness medicine, the history of women climbers, the Wilderness Act and areas of the world like Myanmar, the Tibetan Plateau, Kyrgyzstan, the Arctic, the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and Mt. Everest.
“No doubt about it—Molly Loomis gave us the most informative as well as entrancing presentation we’ve had in the last few years.” -Lawrence Millman, Vice-Chairman of the New England Chapter of the Explorers Club
“Molly Loomis is a masterful storyteller and it was a joy to organizers and audience alike to have her speak at TEDxPhoenixville in 2014. Her talk, “Lessons from the Land” was an engaging, lyrical and inspirational musing on profound loss and a self reclaimed. I could have listened to her all day and been all the more rejuvenated for it!” – Kirsten Van Vlandren, TEDxPhoenixville Organizer
